Classy and elegant, dry and typey are words that best describe "Yad al Jauza", a Breyer Classic Thoroughbred "Man O'War" RRH to an Arabian Stallion by Debbie Poole of Revelstone Creations, Australia, 2004/2005.

 As you can see he has had quite a bit of resculpting done, including the entire head; ears; neck; chest; croup/topline; hindquarters; flank area. "Stallion anatomy" has been added between his legs and under the tail. He has carved out feet including frogs; textured chestnuts; follicle bumps around the eyes and muzzle; lip, chest and throat wrinkling; and subtle veining where appropriate.

Originally with a higher set tail and painted in liver chestnut sabino, I recently stripped him down and reset his tail; then repainted him to this gorgeous "cold" icey blue-white flea-bitten grey. Airbrushed with hand detailing, his coat is richly shaded with a translucent "healthy coat" shimmer, the dark chestnut flea-biting super fine. Realistically haired in quality non-fade, non-frizz ramie fibre, super-fine and silky, he truly has "the look of eagles" about him. Smooth and flawless finish; 2 coats of tough matte sealer; "wet parts" are glossed. ** PLEASE NOTE: the photographs do not show up his detail at all - he is not bland "white", he has lots of subtle shading and nuances, ultra-delicate flea-biting, realistically painted hooves etc. Very hard to not to get washed out photographs in the harsh winter Queensland sun! HALTER by Dragonfly IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION.

Inspired by the likes of "Thaqib al Nasser" and "PVA Sonbali", I am totally thrilled with the result - this magnificent stallion is only for sale as I have far too many Arabs to show at this time.

PS Hilals sire, Al Aaadeed Al Shaqab ia by Ansata Halim Shah. Born after his sire's untimely death in 1995, Al Aadeed Al Shaqab was soon considered Ansata Halim Shah's successor. Not an easy task for a young and unproven colt! But Al Aadeed never disappointed those who believe in him from the very beginning. His solid conformation, sound legs, floating movements and wonderful type won him countless championships. But more important to those who care for him is his irresistible charm. That won him the heart of Al Shaqab's stud director, Sheikh Hamad Bin Ali Al-Thani who really loves this stallion. In 1997 Al Aadeed was Junior Champion Colt of Qatar. He never looked back and collected several more titles like Middle East Champion Stallion. At the international Arabian horse show of Qatar he was named Senior Champion Stallion three years in a row (in 2000, 2001 and finally in 2002) beating his stablemate, the World Champion Stallion Gazal Al Shaqab. In the year 2002 he was sent to Europe to compete at the most prestigious shows. The results? He was All Nations Cup Senior Champion Stallion by unanimous decision. A year later he was named named World Champion Stallion at Paris. But how is he doing in the breeding shed? Well, his oldest foals are five years old now and of extremely good quality. From his first foal crop comes one of his best daughters, the lovely Amira Al Shaqab, Qatar International Champion Mare. His son Adnan Al Shaqab was Junior Champion Colt at the National Show of Qatar in 2002. "We are very pleased with Al Aadeed's foals", states Sheikh Hamad. "Not only Al Aadeed passes on his excellent type and the well-shaped neck and good topline but also his marvellous movements." In June 2005 he showed up at the prestigious Egyptian Event in Kentucky/USA and was named Supreme Champion Stallion.

His sire, Al Aadeed Al Shaqab is by the famous Ansata Halim Shah. Ansata Halim Shah certainly needs no introduction. His get are in demand all over the world and are living testimony for his greatness. In his tail female line Al Aadeed traces back to the famous Egyptian mare Malekat El Gamal, exported to the United States where she founded a dynasty of champions at the Imperial Egyptian Stud. Al Aadeed's dam Sundar Alisayyah (Ruminaja Ali x Imperial Sayyah by Kayed x Malekat El Gamal) came to Al Shaqab in 1994. Though not a beauty-queen, she became a broodmare supreme who produced champion offspring with several different stallions. The diamond in her crown certainly is her son Al Aadeed. With his intense genetic strength he is destined to be a stallion of equal or more influence than his illustrious ancestors.
